The Saugeen Stamp Club was founded in May, 1998, by Peter Kritz and Jim Measures. Membership reaches across Canada. Attendance is usually 20 to 30 members and friends gathering from Owen Sound to London, Ontario – a distance of over 200 kilometers. Although the official start is 7:30 p.m., eager members start arriving by around 6:45 to enjoy the evening.
Meeting information:
When: First Tuesday of every month, 7:30 p.m.
Where: St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church, 356 9th Street, Hanover, Ontario.
The church complex is quite large and the actual entrance to the meeting is found on the 11th Avenue side of the building, just look for the club’s welcome sign.

The Hanover, Ontario, clock tower was erected in 1997 in memory of Albert and Jane Blackburn who saved the original post office clockworks (1915) from destruction.
